Devotional ride to Pandharpur ( called वारी )

Done and dusted 217 Km of Cycling.

A few months ago we registered for it and started practising. Well-planned practice rides by our Pedalwali leaders...

and the wari journey started with Theur Ganpati Darshan.

Every ride gave us something...new friends..new experiences...new learnings...and many more.

Faced many problems/issues before D' day.

Illness of moral supporter Sir..last minute drop out of cyclist buddies.

Was facing shoulder pain since the 25th of May's return ride, and was reluctant to visit a doctor (which is not advisable) cos I was scared that he might not allow me to ride at any cost, I was not ready to back off.

And the D' day arrived...10th of June..for which we dreamed .. planned.

Started my journey with the blessings of God and my Husband, can you believe it.. I cried a lot before leaving, was scared cos of my shoulder pain and was not sure how will I ride without my friends.

Par dosti ki hai....they both came to cheer us at our flag-off point at midnight 🙏.

Flag off done and I immediately asked my angel founder to give me accu pressure on my shoulder.

The journey started with happiness and enthusiasm.

It was a beautiful journey with my lovely co-riders....we chatted...laughed... enjoyed and reached to Breakfast Point which was at 70 km.

Slowly we all gathered at that point...it's such a soothing feeling when you meet everyone and regain your energy, again my angel treated me with her magical hands.

And we started again with full energy...met many friends on the route, thoda racing...thoda sprint...thoda masti..thoda nautanki...and the journey continues...

Reached Indapur 150 km ...lunch Break...huree... had lunch with hell lot of masti ...dhammal....timepass... and loads of laughter.

Again I asked my angel to help me with her magical hands...

Now the last 70 Km were remaining... I was all okay in the whole journey..no cramps... no heat...no headache.. nothing... nothing...you know why...all the time I was chanting..." जय जय विठ्ठल...जय हरी विठ्ठल " I was told by few riders that it's very difficult from Indapur...many gave up last year from that point...so all the time I was waiting where is that scary patch ??😆

We had fun in the last 40 Kms...kudos to all the hydration points and lovely volunteers..we stopped almost at all the points...took shower with cold water.... supported each other...kept on boosting the morale of each other...and the beautiful... gorgeous .... awesome.... चंद्रभागा नदी came... can't even explain the happiness of seeing her... मां से मिलने की खुशी शब्दो मे कैसे बयां करे...

So we entered into पंढरपूर.

Went to meet our पांडुरंग ....clicked few pics at his भव्य मूर्ति at the entrance of  devotional Pandharpur.

Just few kms to main destination.... तीर्थ विठ्ठल... क्षेत्र विठ्ठल..🙏🏻

Power of नामस्मरण ...easily rode 217 Kilometres 🙏🏻
